"Monterey Bay," the tenth installment of my Highway 1 Series of original serigraphs. This is a nine-color print but required 11 trips through my printing press (which translates to over 2,750 hand-pulled color impressions). When I began this series of prints, I thought it would be great if one of the images could be "underwater," and thanks to my father-in-law and a trip to the aquarium in Monterey, I was finally able to make this print.
