"Cambria," the ninth installment of my Highway 1 Series of original serigraphs. This is a nine-color print and required over 2,500 hand-pulled color impressions to complete. I will never forget my first visit to Cambria. I arrived in the small town and immediately went to the beach. I was waling along a wooden footpath on the cliffs above the waves, and within the first 2 or 3 minutes of my walk, a Humpback whale burst out of the water and then crashed back down in a terrific splash. A few seconds later, she did it again. And then again. And again. She breeched 10 times as I stood there watching in amazement. It was stunning. ~ Jake
