"'Mendocino' is the 4th image in my Highway 1 Series. I'm always struck by the architecture in Mendocino and the uniqueness of the town. The buildings are so different than most other places in California and the architecture is certainly not what I'd expect to see in a 'California beach town,' but it feels absolutely right. The old wooden water towers you see scattered around town are also fascinating to me and something you don't see in other places. It's one of those towns I wish I could have visited a hundred years ago. 'Mendocino' is an 8 color print and required over 2,000 hand-pulled color impressions to complete." ~Jake
