The inspiration for this print - in fact, this entire series - comes from the collective memories of thousands of Chico State Alumni who participated in a study conducted by the Chico Experience committee. My challenge is to turn these thoughts and memories of Chico into a cohesive series of images. “Fun,” and “close to downtown,” are the descriptions I worked from for this print, and I chose to represent Chico’s fun and vibrant nightlife.

1. In the top left you will notice an oak leaf and a bicycle with it's light on for those late night rides in Chico.

2. Top middle is number "4" representing the fourth print in the series.

3. In the top right is hops, and in the circle below is the stained glass inside Kendall Hall.

4. Bottom left we have coffee beans and a coffee cup, just to the right is the bear that is above the entrance to Madison Bear Gardens.

5. Bottom right is a leaf with "2013" for the release year of this print and the letter "C" for...you guessed it, Chico.

6. "Today Decides Tomorrow" Is the text on the main doors to Kendall Hall and the tower to the right of the "2nd and Broadway" signs is Trinity tower.
